We are happy to host this Farm to Table Benefit w/ proceeds going to The O'Bannon House Preservation Foundation. Chef Brayden Apple w/ River Cottage Farms will be providing a delicious and locally sourced 5-course dinner for the evening. There will also be many great items available in a silent auction that will conclude after the dinner. A glass of wine or beer will be provided with each ticket purchase and will also be for sale during the event. Tickets are $80/ticket. We hope to see you all there to assist such a deserving non-profit organization! You do not have to be 21 years old to purchase a ticket, but ID is required to be served alcohol. The mission of this foundation is to restore and preserve the home built in 1812 by Lieutenant Presley N. O’Bannon, United States Marine Corps. Our vision is that this hero’s home will become a venue for the conservation and exhibition of American history. Creating a place to learn, visit, stay and explore. Lt. Presley O’Bannon, USMC was the first American to plant our flag on foreign soil in 1805. The first stanza of the Marine Corps hymn speaks to his heroic action, “To the shores of Tripoli.” What a great way to help preserve history and promote patriotism!
