LA Compost is coming to the Lotus Festival! Join us on Saturday July 9th from 12pm - 1pm for a FREE bilingual (English/Spanish) Compost 101 Workshop! All attendees weill receive free finished compost. Workshop will take place in the "Eco Friendly Area" located at the Childrens Playground within Echo Park. This workshop will cover the basic elements of composting including materials you need to get started at home, how to start your own system, and how to use the finished compost you produce. We hope to share how composting is easier than you may think! After the workshop, you still have the whole day to enjoy the Lotus Festival. ¡LA Compost estará presente en el Lotus Festival! ¡Acompáñenos el sábado 9 de julio de 12pm - 1pm para un taller bilingüe (inglés/español) de Compost 101 GRATIS! Todos los asistentes recibirán composta gratis. El taller se llevará a cabo en el “Área Eco Friendly ” ubicada en el parque infantil dentro de Echo Park. Este taller cubrirá los elementos básicos del compostaje incluyendo los materiales que necesitas para empezar a hacer composta en casa, cómo empezar tu propio sistema, y cómo usar el compost terminado que produces. ¡Queremos compartir cómo el compostaje es más fácil de lo que usted cree! Después del taller, podrá disfrutar el día en el Lotus Festival.
