The "TRIO Collaborative": Restoring The Breach Inc. Pink Huddle Inc. and Youth Career Commission Inc. is conducting the third annual event to support teachers on Friday, July 16, 2022 2pm - 6pm at the Trio Collaborative location 515 Denmark Street in Statesboro. The “Back the Teacher Bash” is designed to exclusively support and honor teachers. This is an opportunity for the community to provide the much needed support to the backbone of the education system, “Teachers”. Our goal is to provide as many teachers as possible with a tangible display of appreciation for all they do, while giving them the tools they need to take care of our children. Every year before school starts, communities across America pour massive amounts of supplies into new backpacks for students. However, in many cases, by the middle of the school year those backpacks are empty, and if teachers have no extra supplies in their classrooms, some children will not be able to do their work. In fact, the average teacher in the United States spends over $400 of personal income per year on classroom supplies. So while we’re packing backpacks, let's "Back" the teachers who can managing those classroom supplies much better. TEACHERS, COME LET US SHOWER YOU WITH LOVE, APPRECIATION, FREE FOOD, SUPPLIES, MUSIC, AND SPECIAL GIFT DRAWINGS. VENDERS are welcome to set up product sales and information display tables at $25 per table space.
