This parent workshop will meet Friday (6-9 p.m.) & Saturday (8:30-11:30 a.m.)Workshop topics will include: Putting an End to Arguing, Back Talk, and Begging  Put an end to hassles and arguments to provide reasonable, healthy limits. Teaching Responsibility Without Losing Their Love  Provide loving, firm limits and hold kids to high expectations at the same time. Setting Limits Without Waging War AND Avoiding Power Struggles  Get kids to listen without repeated warnings or bribes and help kids build internal controls. Avoid battles by sharing healthy control with kids. Guiding Kids to Own & Solve Their Problems Competence and personal responsibility are keys for children’s success in the real world—learn techniques which allow kids to think critically about their own lives and choices. Teaching Kids to Complete Chores…Without Reminders  Contributions to the family are the foundation of kids doing things to feel good about themselves.  Human beings need to be needed…and the trash gets taken out!
