Learning Pod for 6-7 year olds

Hello Everyone! Please read below for a pod style learning opportunity in Canby: I will be starting a learning pod (small classroom) of 8 students this next school year. I am looking for children between ages 6-7, the closer to 7 the better (as I believe that is an excellent time to begin a child’s formal education). I am a teacher of 14 years; however- I’ve been homeschooling and tutoring for families for 19 years total. In addition to my teaching degree, I’ve been trained in Neurosemantic Language Learning Theory, so I will utilize this theory in our classroom. This theory teaches to all learning systems and I’ve used it successfully with many students over the years. Ideally my students will have had a great amount of play time that has helped them develop the play part of their brain before we start the school year. If my students have already attended a year or two of school that works with what I will be offering. The only prerequisite is that they know the alphabet; they can identify the letters and write them. The monthly cost is $400 with some additional curriculum/supply costs. I will be requiring a semester commitment at a time. Class will be held from 9 am to 12:30 pm- Monday through Thursday. A biblical worldview will be used in the classroom.
