Description
Hello,
I am looking for 2-3 people (ideally a group) to install laminate flooring in my home. The materials are awaiting pickup already, so it would be great if you can assist with picking up the materials as well. Prior to picking up the materials, I'd like to measure, as I did a rough estimate (long story but to get better pricing, I had to put down a deposit and they took it upon themselves to ship it to their warehouse). They ordered 1800 square feet. It will be somewhere in this ballpark. This flooring does not come with any of the trim pieces and there are a couple of spots where we will need to be creative about making transitions look good (I can explain better in person). I would like to install this flooring in the best way possible. This includes waterproofing the edges and silicone beading the junctions.
I am also interested in sanding/staining our trim to match flooring better. I have done some test stains, and think I am getting in the right wheelhouse to accomplish this. I'd prefer to find someone who has experience in this arena to help make this happen as well.
I also have plenty of other smaller tasks I'd like to accomplish as well, so it would be great if I could find someone to build a long-term relationship with. Ideal candidates would be handy people who do work on the side or trades people who are now working for themselves. Please no tweakers (sorry, but a quick phone call makes it easy for me to spot these), it's a waste of both of our time.
Ideally looking to get started on this as soon as possible. Need to do tile as well in a few rooms at some point, and again, there are a bunch of other projects I'd like to do as well, so I look forward to discussing what is possible.
I am open to an hourly rate or a per square foot price, or maybe a mix of both (per square foot on flooring and hourly on other projects). Somewhere in the range of $25 per hour.
Thanks,
