We are looking for a Property Maintenance person in the Killeen/Copperas Cove area. Currently we have 150-200 doors (rental properties) in the area. We have 3 apartment complexes, Quadplexes, Duplexes and Single Family homes. This position will consist of primarily of running work orders for the properties and doing make ready on vacant units. The apartment make ready consist of painting, flooring, changing light fixtures, etc. The applicant should have a basic knowledge of electrical (changing plugs/switches, troubleshooting), and general plumbing (how to change a sink drain, change shower valves, etc). You will need reliable transportation (A TRUCK), as this position will require moving around properties and hauling materials at times. You will need basic tools (driver/drill, screwdrivers, socket set, etc). We can provide any specialty tools along the way. The ideal candidate needs to be a SELF STARTER, Independent and able to work and complete assignments with little supervision. Customer Service skills are a plus as you will be interacting with tenants regularly. This is an 8-5, M-F position, bi-weekly paychecks.
