30something looking to start a cover band

Hello. I have a schedule that allows me enough afternoon/evening free time to actually practice with a band and the days of making original music are (mostly) behind me. I would like to put something together for fun, hopefully playing bars/events at some point. I'd like to span 50's - 00's and avoid the super obvious choices. Not so much deep tracks but maybe songs people haven't heard in awhile. I play guitar/can also play bass and learn very quickly. Not much of a singer but backup vocals should be ok. Messing around with originals is cool too but definitely secondary.
