Blue female budgie 1.5 yrs old. She is tame and is used to flying around the house onto her various perches. She also flies in and out of her cage on her own when she is ready to turn in for the day. Her mate passed away recently and we do not want to buy another bird or leave her lonely. I recommend clipping her wings for her own safety while transitioning families. This will also allow her to learn to trust her new family. However, I would like for her to go to a home that will allow her to grow out her wings and fly freely.
