Description

To help students & teachers prepare for the upcoming '22-'23 school year, let's strengthen our literacy skills in an exciting way! Each Scholar will receive a reading log to track their books. You may also journal your own log, but please make sure to submit your logs every Friday beginning on July 8, 2022. To ensure scholars are utilizing reading comprehension skills which is the ultimate goal in literacy, participants are required to answer the 5 W's after reading each book: Who, What, When, Where, Why. There is no limit to creativity! You may answer the 5 W's via picture drawings, video skits, or writing. The top reader who reads the most books for the month of July will receive a grand prize of $100 for cool school gear! There will also be prizes for second and third place winners.
