Warehouse Operator for a Rapidly Growing Flooring Distributor Position: Warehouse Operator Must be able to work well within minimal supervision. Able to follow quality control processes. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Warehouseman will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse employees in daily warehouse operations. These duties will include machine management, product rotation, inventory control, customer releases along with other daily warehouse and clerical operations. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: ➢ Perform accurate product count and inventory control throughout the warehouse ➢ Receiving incoming deliveries of product and managing the product rotation cycle ➢ Responsible for loading of trucks, repackaging product, disposing of damaged or expired products, cleanliness of warehouse, etc. ➢ Handling all incoming customers. ➢ Managing and shipping samples for our e-commerce site REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: ➢ Previous Warehouse experience preferred ➢ Shipping, logistics, and transportation background ➢ Shrink and loss prevention control ➢ Compliance with safety rules and regulations ➢ OSHA compliance for distribution warehouse operations ➢ Personnel systems, employee production record keeping ➢ Quality control standards ➢ Compliance with state and local sanitation standards ➢ Shipping, production, quality, safety standards ➢ Strong interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution skills ➢ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, as well as other physical demands of warehouse operations, including bending, standing, and constant moving ➢ Education -- minimum High School Graduate or GED PLEASE RESPOND TO AD BY EMAIL ONLY WITH YOUR RESUME, COVER LETTER AND DESIRED COMPENSATION.
