Our client is looking for an experienced shipping lead to grow with their company management team in directing shipping and other warehouse functions. You will oversee and perform shipping of a wide variety of automotive products. The shipping lead will be a working position, meaning they will be responsible for performing multiple tasks while directing employees in a constantly changing environment. This position requires a strong background in general shipping experience and supervision. You will be responsible for the shipping operation of the warehouse and shipping personnel management. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all shipping processes are running and in accordance with company policy. Shipping Lead Responsibilities: *Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient shipping of automotive parts and accessories. *Manage inventory and productivity with the use our inventory and warehouse management system *Supervise shipping department employees and oversee daily operations *Perform general maintenance of equipment and fixtures, ie. Scanners scales, computers *Enforce all company policies *Ensure a high degree of accuracy on every job/order *Communicate with management, customer service and vendors in a professional manner *Prepare customized packaging solutions utilizing best practices within our industry *Maintain a clean and safe work environment *Create shipping labels from a PC for various companies like UPS, FedEx, USPS and common carriers *Support our offshore purchasing team through both verbal and written communications Shipping Lead Skills: High school diploma/GED required Demonstrated fork-lift experience, added asset 2+ years prior experience applicable to this role Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures Valid driver's license Proficient in using common PC software programs Be reliable, punctual and willing to work overtime Call us at 602.610.3838 or stop by our office if you are interested at 3138 E McDowell Rd Phoenix, AZ 85008. #letsgotowork#warehouse#tolleson
