Summary The Installation Technician is responsible for the upfitting of new vehicles into innovative solutions for a wide range of markets focused on high-quality workmanship which has the potential to positively impact our business growth. We are looking for someone who is quality-driven, customer-focused, and can meet the demands of a busy shop. If you are detail-oriented, motivated and ambitious, and a team player, this job is for you! Job responsibilities include: Assembling truck bodies, routing and installing wire harnesses, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, ladder racks, shelving, wall liners, and floors, disassembling and reassembling factory vehicles. Uphold quality levels that the company and customers require. Record and maintain accurate records, find efficiencies while respecting quality, and contribute ideas to the company. Project times are recorded with expected levels of accuracy using pictures and/or project specific information for standard work creation. Stonebrooke Equipment is a commercial vehicle upfitter. Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Must Haves 1 year Automotive Technician experience required 1 year Aftermarket add-on/Upfitting experience required Experience working with automotive electrical systems Experience working with automotive mechanical systems Ability to read drawings, including electrical schematics, layout drawings, and work orders with limited help Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds Work will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling Fieldwork may be required at times as well as varying work hours.
