Halifax Paving is seeking to fill a general labor position. Daily duties will vary but generally do not require experience. Duties/Responsibilities: • Moving, securing, loading, or unloading materials as directed in plans or by supervisor • Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor • Shoveling, raking, etc. to dig, fill and level ground. • Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment • Clean up, punch list items, etc. as needed Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions. • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change. • Ability to work with a variety of personalities. • Must be able to perform physical labor and lift or move up to 50 lbs. • Required prolonged periods of standing and walking. • Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • Day shift • Overtime • Occasional Weekend availability We are an Equal Opportunity Employer DFWP/EEO Send resume here or apply in person with Driver's License and Social or birth certificate. 814 Hull Road Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
