SESSION TWO! This three-part, all-levels sewing class will give you the confidence you need to pursue sewing as a hobby! Do you wish to be able to sew, hem and mend your garments yourself, but don't know where to start? Do you have a sewing machine you don't know how to use? Do you lack the knowledge to maintain your sewing machine properly? Do you desire a community of like-minded, hands-on learners? If so, this class is just right for you! Taught by Justice Fuegen (owner of Sharktooth Intentional Living Company, a local up-cycling company), Nina Darrington (quilter and seamstress of 45+ years), and Wanita Gravatt (wedding dress seamstress and quilter of 45+ years) , this three-part, multi-level sewing class will cover the basics of re-sewing buttons, basic garment mending (session 1), sewing machine over-view and maintenance (session 2), and even teach you how to create your own pattern, cut, pin, and sew your very own tote bag (session 3)! Whether you're confident on your own sewing machine or are interested in inventing in a machine, this class will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to take your sewing skills one step further. Each class is $20 per person, with all supplies for each specific class included. *We ask that attendees are at least 14 years of age.* Session two will be held Saturday, February 13th from 2:30pm - 4:30pm, with the third session being held Saturday, Saturday, February 20th.
