American Moving & Storage is looking for self-motivated, talented, movers/packers to be a part of our world class team. No prior moving experience necessary but is preferred. Onsite training is provided to any new employee! The Professional Mover Position will be responsible for providing a world-class moving experience for all American Moving & Storage customers. Position Responsibilities: • Execute moving jobs for local both residential and commercial customers with excellence • Packing, loading, unloading and unpacking customer goods with care • Assist the Team Leader with customer communication, inspections, and paperwork • Follows direction from Team Leaders and Management in compliance with company policy • Report to the warehouse by 7:30 am, knowing that each job is different and hours/ending times will vary. Position Requirements: • 18 years or older • Ability to communicate professionally with customers • Access to reliable transportation (on a bus route 17) • Ability to lift and carry objects of 50+ lbs • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record preferred • Ability to gain base access a plus • Good hygiene practices Incentives: • Tips and Bonuses • Benefits after 90 days *Starting pay up to $25 with experience* We are looking for full-time or part-time individuals.
