Looking for a reliable laborer to join our small company. No education requirements. Job Description: Laborer will be responsible for servicing the weekly residential trash route customers in Needham, MA along with extra pick-ups and clean-outs around the Norfolk County area. Responsibilities and requirements include: - Ability to drive a rack dump truck to pick up residential trash and heavy furniture - Ability to get in and out of the truck for each customer and throw heavy bags overhead into the truck - Ability to lift heavy objects and walk up and down stairs - No special license is required for the truck. It is a Ford F350 with a dump bed. Just a normal, valid driver's license with no DUI's, etc. - Laborer will need to learn the software system used in the truck to track the route and pickups - This is a customer facing job. Not always, but at times you will run into the customers at their homes when picking up their trash, so customer service is important. Our small, family business runs on referrals so this is extremely important. Hours: Sunday and Monday (Off) Tuesday: 7-1/2 Wednesday: 7-2/3 Thursday: 7- 2/3 Friday: 7-1/2 Saturday: 4-5 hours starting around 9 or 10 Hours will vary slightly based on workloads but start times will stay the same Guaranteed 30 hours per week. We usually have enough work to get you to 40 hours so there is the potential to make more money. Pay: Start at $20 an hour. Bump up to $25 after training Additional hours over 30 will be paid hourly with opportunity for extra bonuses at the discrepancy of the company This is not a glamorous job but we are hoping to find someone who will stay with our company long term and become part of our family company.
