Machine Shop in Essex, MA is looking to hire additional help as soon as possible in our Shipping/Receiving Department. Shared responsibilities include: packaging & boxing parts for shipment and local delivery in our vehicle. Processing UPS & FedEx shipments online. Receiving of materials from vendor deliveries. Deliveries and pick-ups are within 50 miles of Essex, MA and vary daily. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with clean driving record Dependable Attention to detail and caring attitude required Can work quickly and efficiently Excellent organizational skills Must be able to work well with others High School Diploma or GED Basic Computer skills Must be able to lift 50lbs Responsibilities for Receiving: Labeling material for the appropriate job Directing materials to appropriate locations (stocking locations or point of use) Responsible for confirming correct materials and quantities are received and checked off on packing lists. Responsibilities for Shipping: Bagging, labeling, and safe packaging of parts for customer shipments Signing off on internal paperwork Additional Duties: Keeping Shipping/Receiving area clean and organized Driving company vehicle to pick up or deliver materials Any other activities as directed by management Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm Benefits after 90 days; health insurance, paid earned vacation time, 401K, etc.
