The main goals of a Building Maintenance Technician at NVN is responding to maintenance requests, handling any necessary repairs and ensuring there is a safe and clean environment for our customers and team.
Typical daily duties include:
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of north store locations by performing custodial tasks and light building
maintenance.
• Checking and responding to safety issues.
• Conducting regular inspections of property equipment and fixtures (i.e.: Exit signs, Fire extinguishers).
• Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter.
• Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing small maintenance repairs
including but not limited to replacing a worn doorknob, replacing a bathroom faucet, inspect for burned out ceiling light
fixtures, change the filters in the air conditioning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Week: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00pm
