A full-day training event for Pediatric Anesthesiology FellowsThe Midwest Fellow Boot Camp brings experienced pediatric anesthesiology physicians and fellows from across the Midwest for an exceptional one-day training event. The event exposes trainees to multiple pediatric emergency simulation scenarios, and gives fellows numerous educational opportunities that may include regional anesthesia, difficult airway techniques, neuroaxial techniques, acupuncture and use of a standardized patient for difficult conversations. Fellows and faculty from training programs across the Midwest and Canada are welcome to attend this rigorous educational experience! The Midwest Fellow Boot Camp was established in 2017 in collaboration with faculty from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, who run an established East Coast Fellow Boot Camp.
