weekly jam/rehearsal for gig at small bar

Looking for regulars and semi-regulars for weekly jam/rehearsal and occasional gigs at a small bar. This Saturday 5-7 slot is chosen because the time is currently available at the bar as an early opener for the main 9-12 slot, which is also possible, but more competitive to book. There are also other possibilities with other evenings, tbd. The jam/rehearsal will be at nightingale studios in burbank (https://www.nightingalestudios.com), but I won’t book it until we have enough people signed up. This is being posted Thursday for Saturday only a couple days later, so if we don’t get it together this week, it might be postponed. Hope to see some of you again after a couple years of covid disruption and to meet some new people, too. I’d like to get back to weekly jamming, but now I also want to play on stage in public. I like the little bar in my neighborhood. Nothing fancy, but it fits me fine. I’m lousy on guitar and vocals, but I have a whole bunch of songs (https://soundcloud.com/user-349310441-698370456) that are supposed to be fun to jam on, even if the words are wacky. If you write, great! If you sing, good! If you’re a hotshot on drums, lead guitar, or bass, but don’t sing or lead songs, that’s ok, but rather than a single band with a fixed lineup and setlist, I’d really prefer more of a collective of semi-regulars who take turns leading new songs all the time. Keyboards, horns, strings, please join us, too!
