Practicing breathing combined with a therapeutic movement can be the happiest of unions. Like many kids of the mid-1990s diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADHD, my parents had been prescribed be suggested that drugs were the answer; luckily, my doctor also shared body scanning techniques and thus began my practice of deliberate breathing. At the young age of 10, around 1999, I was applying this breathing exercise to help me with chronic depression and insomnia. Twenty-three years later, I am a happy, camper-loving life, free of depression and insomnia. I am also an avid boulder who loves the outdoors and enjoys the simplest of moments and what might seem insignificant to some. I'm excited to share my practice with the community of Leavenworth - with the hope that you, too, will connect with your breath again.
I have grown my practice over the years by listening to guided meditations, reading, and tribal knowledge absorbing different techniques from around the globe. My guided breath and movement classes take cues and or wisdom from the following;
