Hi. We're looking for someone to build and install a ceiling-mounted barn door. We have none of the mountain/railing hardware or lumber. We are seeking quotes for the complete service (building the custom door and install) according to the specification below. We're ready to hire. Specifications: We want a barn door to separate the hallway from the living room. The barn door probably needs to be ceiling mounted. I believe there are 2x6 beams in the ceiling, flush with the wall. Floor to ceiling height is about 8 feet. Barn door width will need to be about 42". Railing will need to be around 84." We're looking for a classic barn door style, but are open to seeing modern designs (frosted glass inlays, etc.). We strongly prefer a ceiling mount over building a wooden frame across the top of the hallway. Barn door will need to be custom-built as the dimensions are not standard.
