The MJ Connect is hosting their first We're Better Together Donation Drive. This will be a donation drive series whose mission is to touch all the families in need in the state of Maryland. The first stop will be at The Laurel Boys and Girls Club where The MJ Connect founder is born and raised. Around the state we have different donation drop off points. We're accepting nonperishable foods, canned goods, pet food, slightly used clothing, toys, school supplies, books, toiletries and other household items. If you know anyone that could benefit from this event, please let them know. On August 6th from 12pm-4pm at The Laurel Boys and Girls Club we will be distributing the different donated items out to different families in need who attend the event. Please bring your family out and enjoy a moon bounce, games, music and face painting for the kids. We will be serving lunch for attendees and volunteers. All extra donated items and any monetary donations will directly assist the Laurel Boys and Girls Club, The American Legion Post 60 and The Love and Lunches Organization.
