"SCRUFFY" was surrendered to us in horrible condition. He was starving, emaciated, his who body one big mat of fur requiring me to completely shave all of his fur down to his skin. I was doubtful he was going to survive but I wanted to give him his best chance. I put him on a high quality diet with unlimited quanities and put him in a extra small dog sweater to keep him warm. Very quickly he came back to life and forced his way into our hearts! 💙💙 Fully rehabilitated, he is ready for his forever family. I believe Scruffy to be an angora rabbit based on his size fur type - it never stops growing and he is very fluffy! I am unsure of his age but I suspect he is somewhere between 1 and 2, and very small in size. Because he is angora, he is very high maintenance, requiring at least weekly brushing to prevent the formation of matting which happens very easily. He is has not been neutered. He has the SWEETEST demeanor and LOVES to be snuggled close and petted, almost demanding attention. He does well with my other rabbits when I let him play with my free roaming Flemmish Giants. I would prefer he go to a home that has prior experience with angora and appreciates the level of attention required to keep him happy and healthy, inside and out.
