Join the YMCA-ECRN+ and Metro Parks for our annual Happy Hikers Club! This month we will take a hike through the Walter Tucker Nature Preserve as we talk about the importance of trees in our lives. We’ll learn to identify a few common ones and look for the animals that live in the forest.

Saturday, July 23rd at 10am.
WHO
All ages and abilities are welcome! The Walter Tucker Nature Preserve is made up of gravel and a wooden boardwalk to allow for wheelchairs, strollers, and other adaptive equipment. This "shady stroll" will be about 1 mile.

Blacklick Woods Metro Park (6975 E. Livingston Ave, Reynoldsburg)
Meet Up Point: Nature Center
Driving directions or specific instructions for finding the location: Once you enter the park, take the road all the way to the back of the park. Park in the lot and follow the signs to the nature center. Please note, that the restroom is in the parking lot, not inside the nature center.

Parents/Guardians must stay with their child at all times. We encourage family participation!In the event of inclement weather, the outing will be canceled and rescheduled. The cicadas are still prominent in the parks and might be noisy. Please wear bug spray. We will also have some available to use. We will be outside in the sun. We recommend your child and family wear sun protection (sunscreen, hat, etc) and bring water.
