The Paris Bourbon County Farmers Market has our annual fundraiser coming up - and its going to be one awesome event! "Picnic on the Creek" scheduled for August 27th, is a mid-summer evening spent creek side with the music of Clay Jamerson and Dark Moon Hollow. Similar to Lexington's "Picnic with the Pops," the night will be spent with incredible music in the beautiful creekside backdrop of Captain Tuttle's. The event is BYOP - bring your own picnic! Attendees can pack their own picnic from home or grab takeout from a local restaurant. No outside alchohol is allowed, but beer and wine will be available for purchase. Guests purchasing tables may decorate their table with the theme "Kentucky Proud." Table decorations may be as elaborate or simple as the guests wish. Celebrity judges will lead the judging team at 7:30pm to award Best Decor, with the winner ssnagging a Farm Fresh Basket from the Farmers Market. The Farmers Market will also offer a live auction during the intermission with some incredible once in a lifetime items. With purchase of a ticket/table, guests can add on additional speciality items like a flight of pies, signature cocktails made tableside by a mixologist, champagne, or warm cookies and milk for an additional charge. There are 3 ticket options for Picnic on the Creek: Blanket Seating: Bring your chairs, blankets, food, and fun to enjoy the event. $20/per personHarvest Seating: Be apart of the community! Long, rectangle tables allow community members to sit along side each other enjoying the event. All your bring is your picnic! $30/per personStandard Table Seating: Gather your favorite 8 friends, plan your table for the Table Decorating Contest, plan your menu, and enjoy a fun, festive evening for a great cause. $300/Table for 8 people.
