Monkey Lizards is an indie folk rock band from Livermore California formed by singer-songwriter John Thayer, bassist Olsen Miguel Baez, drummer Brian Surano, and multi-instrumentalist, Richard Hibbs. Their songs tell the stories of heroes, monsters, zombies, magic bus rides, and regular people looking for love in the face of oblivion. Since starting to play together in 2016, they have self-released three original albums. Their current album, "What Scales With Sky," is a collection of folk songs so big, that not even the atmosphere can contain them. See them live at Almost Famous Wine Lounge, an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore's wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned 32 top industry awards since our debut last year. There is a two drink minimum for each guest. Reserved seating sales are final. While we do not offer refunds, we are happy to apply the full credit of your purchase to another show. Reserved table seating is available for purchase at this show. Non reserved seating is otherwise available first come, first served. Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. Only Almost Famous wines can be consumed on premise, but with a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles, there's something for everyone.
