Warehouse Driver Job Description We are searching for a physically agile warehouse driver to fulfill time-sensitive delivery duties. The warehouse driver should inspect assigned route sheets, gather requisite merchandise, from our warehouse or pick up material orders from supply houses as requested and then load the delivery vehicle. You should subsequently cart orders to our jobsites. To ensure success as a warehouse driver, you should be familiar with pertinent vehicle weight restrictions and safety load carrying restraints. A remarkable warehouse driver will inform the office of predictable delays. Warehouse Driver Responsibilities: • Reviewing route sheets to establish your daily delivery needs. • Inspecting invoices to ascertain all stock requirements. • Loading merchandise thoughtfully to facilitate quick access. • Carting pertinent stock to our project sites. • Collecting defective and otherwise ill-suited merchandise. Complete delivery paperwork and daily logs. • Issuing equipment delivery / transfer tickets with dated delivery notes. Warehouse Driver Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Demonstrable, varied experience as a warehouse driver. • Valid driver's license. • Unsoiled driving history. • Impeccable coordination techniques. • Customer-oriented, communicative, and efficient. • Physically strong. Able to lift 50 lbs, agile in the ability to get up and down from truck multiple times in a day. Ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull. This would be a good opportunity if you: Have the ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions. Speak English and Spanish Are able to be at work by 5 am on occasion. Understand plans get adjusted during the daily routine Schedule: Morning shift 5:30 am - 2 pm, plus overtime as needed. Pay rate: Starting hourly pay rate $16.00 or depends on Experience. • Required - Applicants must be at least 21 years of age & must have experience driving open bed/stake Trucks. Driver must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 10 - Construction or OSHA 30 Construction Driver must be willing to utilize hand held technology for tracking delivery status and completing order delivery.
