UTMB Trauma Services, The Center for Addiction Research, and the Texas Department of Transportation have collaborated together to bring the youth of the community groundbreaking education on the dangers and consequences of drinking/drugged driving. This production will be held live in person and will go through many stages of a real life scenario starting with a staged car accident, a transport to the hospital, jail, and death. This production can be emotional to watch but we feel passionately that it can save a life by accurately depicting the dangers and consequences. Three wonderful guest speakers will be here to give you their experiences in the trauma world and you won't want to miss it! Please join us for a day of learning, incredible guest speakers, and tours of an ambulance, fire trucks, and a Memorial Hermann Life Flight Helicopter! PARKING: Please park in parking garage #2 located on Harborside Drive in front of the Emergency Department. There is an area on the first floor by the elevators where there will be volunteers awaiting to take you to your destination. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you so we can validate your parking ticket.
