Job Description Georgetown Auto Service has an opening for an experienced technician. We are a European and Asian with some American automotive repair service. We are an automotive repair service that is looking to add to our existing staff of technicians. Requirements: Clean driving record, minimum of 3 to 5 years technician related work, verifiable references and must have your own tools. We are looking for a long term employee We are in search for an experienced and meticulous Automotive repair mechanic to be able to perform maintenance and repair vehicles to the highest of standards. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the vehicle and assembly. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and repairing them with the ultimate aim being to maximum reliability and functionality.  As a person you are flexible, independent and orderly and have great interpersonal skills. You take great responsibility for your work and is keen to always give your best. In return you will be working in a great team of technicians all striving towards the same goal within a great working environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Examine engines and its components to diagnose issues professionally *Inspect computers and electronic systems to repair or replace *Repair or replace broken or defective parts in order to correct the issues *Keep logs on work provided REQUIREMENTS: *Documented working experience as an Auto Mechanic *In-depth knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles *Good knowledge of using diagnostic systems and tools *Adhere to safety protocols when handling dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. *A problem-solving mentality who sees opportunities and solutions rather than problems *A great team player with good interpersonal skills *High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred *Valid mechanic certification is preferred
