We're back! The Amado Community Alliance and Portable Practical Education Preparation Inc (PPEP Inc) invite you to a cozy movie event this January! We will be screening Cherry (2021) starring English actor Tom Holland for FREE at the Desert Sky Cinema on Thursday July 28, 2022! Cherry drifts from college dropout to army medic in Iraq -- anchored only by his one true love, Emily. However, after returning from the war with PTSD, his life spirals into drugs and crime as he struggles to find his place in the world. We are seeking to educate community members about the seriousness of preventing substance misuse and the real impact of addiction. In addition, we want to provide support, hope and real solutions. Attendees will be able to visit vendor tables before the movie and also participate in an Rx360 presentation, during which attendees will learn about the dangers of opioids and how it impacts the 55+ community. * Disclosure- Rated R Ages 18+ Drama/ Crime
