In this workshop, students will: Receive an introduction to some regionally common plant species useful for weaving basketsExplore the landscape to select and harvest their own skeleton materialReceive instruction in 2 beginner basket styles, andUse pre-harvested wisteria, or harvest additional material, with which to weave their own basketChildren are welcome to attend and participate with a responsible adult. Please purchase a ticket for each basket you/ your family will create. Please bring a sharp knife if you have one you're comfortable using. Pricing for this event is on a sliding scale basis.
