DoorDash seems toto find it acceptable to have your order food, take your payment, allow the restaurant to confirm, have you sit and wait and then minutes before your delivery should arrive cancel your order and say simply " apologies, we have processed a refund and you will have it in 3-5 days".
At the same time, they fund it acceptable that if you order a delivery and need to cNcel, to hold you responsible for the entire cost of the order plus tip.
I can assure you that this practice is totally inequitable, fails to hold them accountable, places individuals who don't have more money to order ( while they wait the 3-5 days for the refund ) in a position where often they are unable to eat and allows Doordash to basically hold customers accountable without holding themselves to the same standard.
If you have had doordash cancel an order on you after confirming please reply to me as I will he putting together a class action lawsuit and will do everything I can to ensure they pay everyone of us for their cancelled orders like they do to us!
