I will pay an experienced carpenter with patio roof knowledge $50 to come over for an hour an advise. Probably wont even take an hour Advice on posts, ledger, header, rafters, fasteners, materials, city code, Maximum Roof Load, etc. And most important: best method for attaching to house.
