Guitarist that has been through the ringer with multiple bands and lineups and looking for a new project. I draw from blues, classic 80’s and heavy metal, 90’s alternative, but not feeling the typical Nola sludge metal, speed or death metal style. Looking to do something different, maybe with keyboards and actually writing music with a band as opposed to the “here’s the songs, learn them” mentality. I have primarily written for almost every project I’ve been in for 20 years, so looking to go back to the way it was and actually write music with a bassist, drummer and singer. I can jam at my house at low levels but can’t crank it up here. Pro gear and no hard drug type dude. Would prefer to join a band needing a guitarist to work on different music as opposed to getting others on track with mine, but don’t mind starting from the ground up a piece at a time. Of course I would love to bring in my favorite personal stuff as necessary, but really looking to write as a group or learn existing band stuff and bring my 2 cents in.
