WE CLEAN HEAT PUMPS LLC is hiring for the following positions: Maintenance Technician: Part-time The Maintenance Technician will report to their Regional Supervisor, the General Manager, and the Company's Owners. It is not necessary for you to have a background in HVAC, we will train you, but you do need to be mature, reliable and excel at customer service. Our office provides consistent, excellent customer service for the thousands of homes and businesses we serve. We manage communication with customers before and after their maintenance appointment. Our Maintenance Technicians are friendly, reliable, communicative, and highly skilled; we arrive on time, leave the spaces we maintain as clean as we found them, and keep our clients’ mini-split heat pump systems working at peak efficiency. We protect the air quality in the homes and businesses we serve, return units to their expected levels of efficiency, and dramatically reduce costly service visits. Job Overview: The maintenance technician works alone, or in a team, and semi-autonomously, to provide the annual cleaning that every heat pump requires. Outstanding customer care and attention to detail is a job requirement, along with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. No prior HVAC experience is required, we will train you. The maintenance technician role consists of: Driving your vehicle with specialty tools to several locations per day, excellent communication with customers and our office, arriving on time at each site, providing outstanding customer care, performing a technical cleaning of both the indoor and outdoor units, leaving each home or commercial space better than you found it. The right candidate is charismatic, comfortable with people, and ready to learn the technical skills required for the job, including working on ladders, safely navigating high-tech HVAC equipment, and leaving the units we service and the customer's home or workplace in beautiful shape. A background in the service industry/ knowing how to interface with customers while on the move is ideal. We will provide training on the unique tools and techniques of our trade, no specific experience necessary. However, we will give preference to someone looking for a career in this growing business. Responsibilities and Duties include: We have very high standards. Candidates must be clean and organized, trustworthy, reliable, timely, efficient, professional, charismatic, and communicative. Independently motivated to do a great job and please every customer. Excellent physical skill while providing excellent customer service required. Must be confident, self-motivated, and able to work alone or in a small team while receiving supervision after the initial training period. Work ethic must be important to you. Our employees must do an excellent job each and every time. You must be able to lift 40 pounds while walking and climbing stairs. You must be comfortable on a ladder and able to safely move ladders and tools inside of people's finished homes and navigate around valuables and high-tech and expensive heating and cooling systems. Once you are trained, you must be able to utilize a low-pressure washer and bib kit inside people's finished homes, safely and accurately cleaning a high-tech heating and cooling system while never damaging the unit or the customer's home. You must have situational awareness and some flexibility, we provide a technical cleaning that's relatively straightforward, but there are slight differences in each job that require confident navigation. You must be willing to practice all necessary Covid-19 safety precautions. This includes, operating while wearing a mask in tight quarters, maintaining cleanliness, frequent handwashing, and disinfecting surfaces. Experience installing or servicing mini-splits is not required but would be excellent; potential for service work available.
