Culture Jam is looking for an experienced drummer to join our band. We’re a true variety band. We need a drummer that can play Pop, R&B, Motown, Disco, 80’s Dance Rock. Country and Latin music.
We’re a 7 piece band. The band is fronted by two great singers (Male/Female). And five musicians. The band has been together for four years. We play all types of events and venues. This includes private parties, corporate events and weddings.
We need a drummer that can mesh with us. We’re a laid back, no drama band. We love having fun on stage and engaging crowds. We presently gig 2-3 times a month sometimes more depending on the offer.
We need a drummer with a positive attitude, pro gear and transportation. And someone willing to travel.
We have an upcoming wedding in Edinburg, Texas and South Padre Island.
You need to be prepared and available to rehearse every Tuesday night from 7-10pm. We rehearse at my home off 1604 and Redland Rd. I have a drum kit setup so you won’t have to haul your kit around.
Ideally, if you can sing harmony, backup or lead that’s a plus but not a deal breaker.
You’ll need to learn Tejano and Salsa.
