Description
Rusty is 4 years old and is a goofy and high-energy boy! He is kennel trained and has the pit face with the lean boxer build. He is fixed and is good with other big dogs.
He has never been around young children or cats so we don't know how he would be with them.
We need to rehome him as he is so big and does not understand how to be calm around our now-senior small dogs. We don't want them to get hurt and it's not fair for him to be in a kennel so much. He is not aggressive to them, he is just so goofy and thinks he's a small dog so he is just too hyper around them. He is good with other big dogs though.
We also feel a structured home where he has room to run would help him to settle down. Our kids are college age and still at home so they always have friends coming and going and they work varying hours so the commotion makes him nervous. He likes it when it's quiet and our home is far from quiet!
He is a good dog that would probably really thrive in a home with another big dog(s) and someone who will give him the time he deserves and a chance to have the home he would love.
Small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home. He will come with a few months of heartworm pills.
