1.5 year old male AKC standard poodle. Weighs 58 lbs. He just had a vet check up last week and is in great health. UTD on shots, he just had his 3yr rabies shot, he is taking simparica for prevention of fleas, ticks and worms. He is not neutered. He does well at the groomers. He is crate trained and does not go potty in the house. He knows basic commands like sit and lie down, he needs more work on his recall; sometimes he doesn't feel like coming to you when you call if he's found something more interesting to sniff etc. And he is very very strong, I would say he's ok on the leash, not perfect, needs work, pulls sometimes. So he needs someone who is willing to put in the time to train him more. He is extremely food motivated and eager to learn. He is great with children and people, he loves everyone! he gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is around my cat and they get along. He is a cuddler and wants to be pet all the time. The reason for rehoming is he will kill poultry. He has killed multiple chickens that were our pets and he needs to find a new home without any birds.
