Free long haired cat

A very sweet and friendly long haired cat was dumped out by our place about 5-6 weeks ago. Our neighbors and ourselves have been feeding it. It was starving! It’s gained a little bit of weight, since it first came around. I pet it but not too much, because my husband is extremely allergic and I don’t want to stir up too much cat hair. I don’t know if it’s a male or female, because of all the hair. If it’s a female it must be fixed, or I would think there would be kittens growing by now. There seems to be a lot of cat mingling at night out here lol! It was visiting everyone in the area but it seems to have chosen our house for the majority of time now. Please call or text . If you would like to come and pick it up. We live about 4 miles east of Carthage. I would think you would want to bring a pet carrier. It seems afraid to be near a started car and I wouldn’t want it to scratch you, if it gets scared.
