I’m a hard working self taught artist from a blue collar family seeking help. Ive been living below poverty for the past several years, working part time wage slave jobs and making art in whatever time is left over. I’ve got the technical skill and drive but I’m lacking in support to get off the ground financially. I need a secure quiet space to work and help w sorting out a business plan to turn my art into $$. My work sells but I’m not a business person. I’ve been renting studio space in the RAD for a couple of years but it is not a conducive environment for producing artwork, it’s noisy, dirty and it’s tiny- only 25 sq feet, frankly it’s been a waste as I can barely even focus here. I showed up to the studio recently to find some unsupervised kid had totally ruined my pallet of mixed oil colors. I know there are tons of large vacation homes here in the mountains sitting vacant. I would love to be able to produce larger works for high end clients. Perhaps if you own one of these properties we can work out a trade, for instance: I produce a large commissioned work in exchange for a place to produce said work. Maybe you have the business skills and art world connections to bring this diamond out of the rough.
