I met Cedric over 20 years ago when he worked for the State's Welfare office near Downtown. We became friends and went to dinners and movies and I considered him a good friend. Then he told me one day he studied and took the postal exam and would be a mailman. We still kept in touch, but lost touch because I could visit him at the Welfare office, but as a mailman, he could be anywhere in the city He also got married on my Birthday, May 11, 1988 and eventually had 3/4 children. I moved back to Chicago, but we were in touch and I talked with his wife; but our friendship being so far apart, eventually ended. I would like to know how he is doing, I have never forgotten the good times we had.
