Please help very sick rescue dog

I have taken in a foster dog who was kicked out by his “owner” to fend for himself in the streets in his old age. He was without pet food and shelter and consistent water for over a month, in and out of traffic. When I got him to the vet we agreed to try to help but she told me to be prepared for euthanasia because he was so sick. He could not move without yelling in pain. He was 24 pounds underweight. With around the clock care he is getting better. He now has a personality coming out and can walk without wailing. It does take a lot of work and items to get him better. If anyone would share his story or check out his wishlist all the items go directly to his care.
