Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) has an opening in our Construction Services Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope. Job Responsibilities: Adhere to ASTM, AASHTO, FM, Army Corp of Engineers, DOT, etc. standards Ensure that all test equipment used is functioning correctly, maintained, and calibrated Ensure that project testing requirements are met and compliant with project specifications Turn in paperwork every day attached to work order Assist in typing of reports as needed Communicate with various field personnel and colleagues Other duties may be assigned Required Qualifications: Ability to lift 35+ lbs repeatedly Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites Excellent communication skills Team player Ability to read and write, ability to use a computer Preferred Qualifications: Aggregate Base Testing Technician Certifications Concrete Cylinder Testing Technician Certification Concrete Strength Testing Technician Certification LBR Certification FDOT Asphalt Plant Technician Certification Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
