Who We're Looking For: We are searching for a motivated individual to be a full-time Warehouse/Production Associate to join our ever-growing team. This position has the potential to grow into a supervisory role, the right person would need to have the necessary skills, initiative, and personality. We are looking for an employee to hire, not an independent or outside contractor. All work is done onsite. Responsibilities: Operate forklift and other equipment to provide a variety of functions for production, shipping, receiving and product staging Ensuring warehouse and production area is clean, accessible and safe for food production utilizing SSOP procedures, on a full-time basis Assisting in counting of physical inventory Receives and unloads incoming materials, verifies accuracy of packing slip with purchase order Communicate with the President, Sales, Logistics and/or Purchasing daily, regarding incorrect or damaged items Pick and pull orders, and prepare orders for shipment Follow lockout/tag out safety procedure and guidelines including, quality improvement objectives, environmental, and/or infection control standards Skills and Preferred Qualifications Forklift operation certification is a PLUS Experience with food production, distribution, and/or manufacturing plant - PREFERRED Knowledge of machine operation in food manufacturing is a BIG PLUS Ability to communicate clearly in English in both written and verbal format Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel, and Word) Ability to lift and/or move up to 50-80-pound bags daily Ability to count, calculate and do the math when necessary.
