MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY JET Performance Products is looking for a Mechanical Assembler - Automotive experience is a good fit. Assembly of carburetors using hand tools and power tools Disassemble and assemble product that is returned for repair Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, vises, calipers Perform visual inspection of units during the assembly process and at completion of assembled units. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Keep assigned work-area clean and organized. Perform other related duties as assigned Qualification Requirements: · High School education or equivalent · Must have good eyesight and manual dexterity · Must be able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions · Good work habits · Ability to cooperate with others · Reliable and punctual Physical Demands: · Lift 30+ pounds Work Environment: Machine Shop/Warehouse setting Pay Rate: 17.00+ per hour depending on experience Full Time Monday – Friday 8am-5pm · Medical, dental and vision coverage · 401K Plan · Paid Vacation and Sick leave · Paid Holidays For over 50 years, Jet Performance Products has been the leader in automotive replacement and aftermarket performance parts.
