OP/ How many times can someone name an incident that involved "good guys with guns"? Even cops shoot and kill pedestrians, more often than not on purpose. The answer is, more people have been shot and killed rather than being saved by someone who was supposedly a "good guy with a gun". It's a 2nd Amendment/gun rights nut job who fantasizes about being a hero.
