Description

*** Please dont spam me with fake offers, you will need to pick up in person and pay at time of pick up not partial payment before. African grey to be rehomed with his double macaw cage and all his/her belongings. Tame beautiful bird, does not scream, does talk, tho often very inappropriately, not being rehomed through any fault of his own. My home is becoming an empty nest, and I work full time. Kenya is a very social bird who is fully flighted and loves to be out with his person. Expects to eat meals with you and hang out on the back of your chair while you watch tv. I find I have less and less time to do this and despite the huge cage I feel guilty for the time she spends alone. (yes we change Kenya's gender from minute to minute, we really have no idea if he is a boy or girl, tho has never laid an egg despite loving to make nests inside boxes.) not aggressive with people, tho bonds very quickly to one person and that person will be Kenyas person and who will be able to hold her for any reason, even if she does not want to be held at that moment. Kenya is use to dogs and cats, is not skittish at all and shows no fear to other animals. so if you have an aggressive animal this would not be a good fit as she does not have the sense to be afraid of other animals. Only looking for a home that has time and experience with parrots. who understands their diet and need to space, flight, and stimulation and attention. this is a link to the cage that Kenya has (and I would insist that Kenya would not be placed in a small cage) https://westernpacificwholesale.ecrater.com/p/35869304/large-double-macaw-parrot-cockatoo?keywords=cage If interested in her/him. The price would be $2000, which was just a little more than the price of the cage. and the cage would need to be dismantled and moved by you.
