Looking for a Christian metal guitarist for a heavy worship gig at a church on one night a week. Performing metal versions of worship songs for a short service. we already have vocalists, drummer, bassist, keys/synth/backtrack player and sound. Everyone involved has been a professional musician at one point in time. As far as what we are looking to sound like, think Sleeping giant/Holy Name, Redeemer, Those Who Fear, Hands (give me rest/creator album). Again we want to cover old hymns and also create some new originals. Requirements: -Born again Christian that believes in the Gospel and has the heart to spread that through music. -Plays guitar and has a willingness to be apart of the vision that we have to reach people through heavier music and take it seriously. We will probably meet once a week or earlier in the day that we have service to go through the set and perfect the sound. -Stage presence -Reliable transportation Please reply to this via email including anything that you think would make you a great fit for this and also with a short testimony about your walk with Jesus and how that began.
